Description
For respiratory protection combined with upper body protection against substances or chemicals, the PLYSU half suits offer an effective solution. The design is based on the fresh air hood, but extended with a Wavelock or Duraskin blouse that reaches over the waist. The airbelt is worn over the blouse, and its hose is connected to the inlet of the half suit. The swivel connector with silencer is screwed onto the connection just like with the fresh air hood. Air is directed to the hood as well as to the arms and upper body for cooling. Water vapor and heat are discharged via two exhalation valves.
To protect these valves, shower/protective covers are attached on the outside. The waist is equipped with integrated elastic. At the sleeve openings, rubber gloves can be attached in an air- and liquid-tight manner using separately available cuffs and O-rings. The half suit is available in sizes S through XL. The minimum required airflow is 198 liters per minute, and the maximum is 226 liters per minute. If the airflow falls outside this range, the warning whistle is automatically activated. After use, clean the half suit thoroughly, check that everything is intact, and hang the suit on the special hanger. The suit includes three attachment points for this purpose.
