Technology
The new generation of fall protection for horizontal lifeline systems: Scope technology is specially developed to absorb fall forces safely and effectively. In the event of a fall, the conical cone bends in a controlled manner around the base plate and attachment points, with the housing deforming to absorb the energy. This results in maximum reduction of fall forces, low deflection, and high energy absorption, which are crucial for the user's safety. Additionally, the conical shape provides extra stability at the end and corner points and helps properly tension the cable.
The design is based on a base plate and a cone. The base plate is placed directly on the roofing or metal roof and firmly attached to the building structure. For insulated roofs, the base plate is fully covered with roofing material to ensure watertightness. The cone is then simply screwed onto the base plate. The end, corner, and intermediate connections of the continuous Scope cable system are attached to this.
An important advantage of Scope is its user-friendliness: with the Scope shuttle, the user can pass the corner and intermediate points without interruption and without having to disconnect the fall protection. Furthermore, Scope is known for its robust, patented design, guaranteed watertightness, and high user comfort. The technology is suitable for almost all roof types and offers a long service life, making Scope a reliable and innovative solution for fall protection.
