Description
In the PLYSU air suits, the entire body is protected and supplied with breathing air and cooling air. The suit is comfortable and offers such a high degree of freedom of movement that it can be worn for extended periods. This makes it ideal for longer-duration tasks, such as production work or cleanup operations following an emergency. After use, the wearer can shower while still wearing the suit to rinse off any contamination. The horizontal entry zipper is located at the front of the suit. You can choose between an industrial zipper, an airtight zipper, or a gas-tight zipper.
The air suit in Wavelock is standardly equipped with a boot sock, allowing the user to wear their own boots. A permanently attached or interchangeable safety boot is available as an option. The air distribution harness is integrated into the suit and ensures a balanced airflow. The suit requires an air supply of at least 311 liters and up to 425 liters per minute. A whistle signal warns the wearer if the airflow falls below or exceeds the minimum or maximum level. Air is expelled through four exhalation valves: two on the hood and two at hip level. The suit is equipped with glove cuffs and O-rings and is supplied without airbelt, gloves, or connectors as standard. Plysu connectors and specific gloves can be supplied separately or pre-installed. The use of the suit hanger, which ensures the suit is hung correctly, is recommended. The attachment points for hanging are integrated into the suit.
