Description
These comfortable fresh-air PLYSU air hoods are an excellent solution when independent respiratory protection, face protection, and cooling are required. The hood is made of optically clear PVC and offers a very wide field of vision. The shoulder section is made of Wavelock, which is flexible and lightweight. The air inlet is located at the back of the hood, and the air is directed along the visor. This provides a comfortable airflow and also helps prevent fogging.
Air escapes through two exhaust valves with check valves. The hood is used in combination with the airbelt (not included). The belt of the airbelt can easily be adjusted to any length using snap fasteners. Two hoses are attached to the air distributor: a short hose with a 1/4” male thread for connecting the air supply hose, and a hose with a silencer, which is screwed onto the back of the air hood.
