Hütter Safety America

As of 1 January 2018, Hütter Safety America (HSA) is a separate entity and has been acting entirely on its own account and responsibility in Latin America since then. A distribution relationship with HSA has existed in the past with the Netherlands-based Hütter Organisation (Hütter Veiligheid B.V. and Hütter Safety International B.V.), but was terminated in 2020. Meanwhile, Hütter Veiligheid B.V. and Hütter Safety International B.V. can therefore no longer be responsible for the HSA business.

Solutiones de Altura and Hütter Safety America respectively have recently been guilty of unfair competition and deception by presenting themselves as official exclusive distributors of Hütter safety products and Scope products for countries in Latin America.

However, Hütter Safety International B.V. is the sole official rights holder for these Hütter and Scope products and systems, brands, product and certificates and hereby declares that the distribution agreements with HSA have been terminated since 2020.

To end the confusion, distortion of competition and deliberate deception, and to prevent further infringement of its intellectual property rights, the Hütter Organisation has commenced legal proceedings against Hütter Safety America and re-equipe in the Netherlands. Judgement will follow soon in these proceedings on the merits.
