The 10-meter block comes with a galvanized steel cable with a diameter of 4.5 mm and is approved for horizontal use.
USAGE AND PRECAUTIONS:
A fall arrest block is personal protective equipment (PPE) against falls and is suitable for one user. The fall arrest block should preferably be attached above the user to an approved anchor point or a suitable structure.
In the event of a sudden movement or beginning fall, the fall arrest block immediately locks, preventing the fall. The spring in the drum ensures that the cable pays out the required length, remains lightly tensioned, and then retracts again. The required length determines the choice of fall arrest block (see available models).
Fall arrest blocks must be inspected annually, and repaired or replaced if necessary. The price level of these Hütter fall arrest blocks is very competitive. With intensive use, it is more cost-effective to replace the fall arrest blocks rather than having them inspected, calibrated, or repaired.
